This is an easy, basic brownie recipe and you likely have all the ingredients on hand, yet it is oh, so good. These brownies have the perfect balance of chocolate, sweetness, density and deliciousness. They are wonderful served at room temperature, or warmed with a scoop of ice cream on top. Add caramel or chocolate drizzle for a brownie sundae.
Ingredients:
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup flour
2/3 cup cocoa
½ cup powdered sugar
¾ t salt
2 eggs
½ c melted butter
2 T water
1 t vanilla
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325
Grease 8 x 8 pan
Mix sugars, flour, cocoa and salt in a small bowl
Mix eggs, butter, water and vanilla in large bowl
Add cocoa mix to egg mixture and stir until well combined.
Spread into greased pan and bake 30 min until set, but do not overcook.
Cool and serve!
